Often it is the students who struggle with abstract thinking that have the biggest learning gap. Physical manipulatives and the opportunity to erase and try again (such as individual whiteboards) significantly improve these students' experience with math and help increase their ability to use abstract thinking in the future. This classroom set of manipulatives will give students a tactile, hands-on experience with graphing that will help solidify an abstract process for all students, especially those who are struggling with a Covid learning gap. They will be especially useful in my Supplemental classes, which are specifically geared towards students with a learning gap.
