The use of these hands-on literacy supplies will help my students to regain the progress many lost during the last two years. Using personal whiteboards, letters, and reader's theater scripts will allow them the opportunity to catch up on the essential phonics concepts missed while they were not in school. Using multi-sensory literacy supplies will provide the boost my students need to get on grade level in their fluency and spelling, and help them to remain engaged and motivated to learn. In addition, these supplies will help them to feel excited as they face the challenge of this continued pandemic and school interruptions.
