Our students have come in this year without much preschool background. We are having to back up and review basic concepts and skills, like writing their names. We need to practice using lines and spaces. Individual lined whiteboards will help with that immensely. We want to emphasize phonemic awareness and number awareness more. The manipulatives for both will help our students have tangible support to increase their reading and math skills. Being able to move blocks and letters around helps connect the concepts to our brains. More practice is the key.

About my class
