Students will have be able to check out these graphic novels to read for school projects, at home assignments and for pleasure reading. All of the reading activities work together to build reading fluency and academic success for life. The more students read the better readers they become. Graphic novels are a great entry point for students with lower reading levels to find books that they are interested in reading and promote reading success. Struggling readers often choose graphic novels because they are engaging and accessible. Increasing this collection for those students who need them will pay dividends far into the future.
