By having a Van De Graaff generator in the classroom, we can do experiments anytime without the extra expense of a field trip to a location that has one. As field trips are not happening at this point, it would be amazing to have a similar experience in our very own classroom. This generator is large enough that multiple students can safely use it and get the same excitement they may have had from a field trip. Another benefit is: if we go to online learning, I can make a video using this large Van De Graaff generator where students will be able to see what is going on no matter the size of their screen!

About my class
