Students have always used English as a way to explore the world and express themselves. This has become increasingly important in light of how Covid 19 has affected students' social and emotional wellbeing. In English, we use thought books as a safe space where students can express their thoughts, feelings, and show their learning. Students are often asked to be creative and expressive themselves artistically. It is expensive to give students with the art supplies necessary to really allow them full creative freedom. This donation would allow me to do just that. Now more than ever, students needs a safe outlet for their emotions and learning. Having supplies ready for students to use in class will facilitate higher levels of learning and engagement and improve student emotional health.
