Our students have struggled through the physical, mental, and emotional challenges of the pandemic. We know the research-proven benefits of mindfulness and yoga in relieving stress, calming the mind, and helping us get through the day. Unfortunately, yoga is NOT common in our rural Utah school. I am changing that. Our 4th grade class does yoga on thin carpet covering a cement floor. I am no expert, but with the help of YouTube's "Yoga with Adrienne" and "Alo Gives" my students gain the benefits of yoga. Mats, cleaner, and storage would support our practice.
