Receiving a donation will help inspire my students to prepare for their lives outside of the four walls of this high school. Most students who first walked into my classroom had no idea how to apply for college and what the requirements were to be even considered. In just a short amount of time students are now able to see that they have the ability to go to college or trade school and make a future for themselves. This project will contribute to making my classroom more visual, so students can easily see that this is a crucial time to make a foundation for their future. First, most of my students are visual learners, so I will be using the poster boards to make fun and appealing anchor charts around my classroom. Next, I will use the new white board as a question board, so students can ask questions that they were maybe too uncomfortable to ask during class. Lastly, I will use the TeachersPayTeachers gift card to purchase valuable materials to engage student interaction.
