These tools will provide my students with the opportunity to do one of the essential learning goal which is that students will plan and install basic electrical wiring. As of right now, we do not have the tools to fulfill this learning goal. We begin this by going through safety, where a major part of the safety in electricity is to make sure that students can measure the input from the power source. Students will install switches, lights, and duplex receptacles in four different scenarios after they have drawn out schematics and learned how to follow the power through the circuit. After the installation, I will inspect their work to make sure that the electrical circuit is safe to energize. If everything is safe, students will use the multimeter and ground fault tester to test and validate the circuits.
