Having flexible seating in my classroom has helped kids stay clam and focused during small group centers. Their lives in school and at home have been majorly disrupted by COVID and any little thing I can do in my classroom to support their emotional well being is worth it. Adding some different types of flexible seating will help with engagement and excitement in the classroom. We do a lot of whole group and small group lessons for all our core subjects. Having a movable visual board to use will benefit all my students to engage them better in lessons.
