Our kids are learning a second language in school. They have really limited books to read besides the textbooks. It is really important and fun for kids to learn a language through reading. They would benefit more from reading more target language books. I plan to build a reading corner in the classroom and place a bookshelf there for my kids to read books! By reading more, I believe that kids will improve their reading and speaking skills in the target language, and they get a chance to know more about the culture of the language.
