Our school is in Price, Ut, which is known for having a lot of fossils. In my project we will be taking the kids out and having them look for fossils, which fits more to paleontology. However, the skills they are learning are also used in archaeology and so with this project they would be learning how to deal with fossils and with artifacts. We also have a well known archaeologist on site who would help us. We have a close connection to the local museum and so would donate anything to them. This would open a new world to our students, to see what occupations that they could prepare themselves for.

About my class
