We have 70 kids in the 5th grade. Several of these students have been home sick with Covid or other illnesses. Having a Chromebook that you can write on with a stylus makes writing out problems and models much easier to see over videos or Zoom meetings. With math especially students need to be able to clearly see the steps being worked out. It's very hard to do that with a Chromebook and doc camera. The lighting isn't always right and students can have a hard time seeing the paper. It will also help with making videos for workbooks you can write more clearly on a digital worksheets. I think it will be a huge help for students who are trying to learn from home.
