Being organized allows students to focus on their learning! Being able to have their whiteboards, dry erase markers, erasers, and headphones all within their reach, helps to cut back on transitions for those items. When students have access to the items they use the most without having to disrupt or stop what they are doing, learning will take place. Our day is so tight on the schedule that any minutes that can be saved are immensely helpful. Each of the items I have requested will help my students be organized, have access quickly, and allow them to focus on their learning.
