Because learning activities have been limited by COVID-19, students need different ways to show what they know! My students have been missing student to student interaction in the classroom and hands-on learning, and this grant would broaden their opportunities to do this in a safe way. The social and tactile aspects of learning are a big focus in my classroom, and this project enables students to access them while social distancing! By funding this project, you help us keep options open for students to share what they are working on, to have curriculum-centered conversations, and practice grade-level communication skills. As students see more of each other’s work, they will gain appreciation for their classmates and will be encouraged to engage more deeply with their learning.
