We have had to adjust our instruction many times through COVID. Through this we have learned that we do not have adequate supplies to support online and in person learning. I am requesting headphones because I am trying to teach my young students how to be technologically literate in a time when being online is a huge part of schooling. The headphones are crucial to that skill. I also am striving to create a safe classroom environment in which kids can safely learn. This includes hard stools that can be wiped down and easily moved around the classroom. I also have supplies that I want to use to expand my instruction. Through the use of wipeable whiteboard sleeves and STEM manipulatives I am hoping to keep kids engaged and excited in their learning, even when the learning might be moved or adjusted. Overall, all the supplies will help my students feel connected to their class and their education in a time where learning is hard and confusing.
