This camera will help make a difference in students' learning by providing them with a tool that will enable them to create quality projects. When I assign film projects as an option, I do so knowing that I have a diverse group of students, some of whom do not have cameras/phones, and thus don't have the means to choose this option. By having a camera like this in my classroom, I will be able to help students who don't have access to a camera. With this camera in particular, students will also learn skills that they wouldn't if they were using a lower-quality camera. Learning to create a film with a DSLR camera will help students in their future classes, such as journalism or photography. It's also just a good skill to have, considering the ubiquity of cameras in our lives.
