Having more electronic and robotic kits will help them stay more engaged and up to date when they need to spend a week or two out side of the classroom. These kits are practically all they will need to create many different projects. We have been using kits that focus on the Arduino but they require many more small parts such as LED's, resistors, and their programming environment is not compatible with Chromebook. These new MicroBits have so many things built into them but they also have just as many access points for expansion. Plus they use a web based programming environment.
