Physical activity is linked to higher academic performance, better health, and improved behavior. This specific group of students has had their education disrupted due to COVID. It was interrupted during a critical learning year. They are still trying to come back and makeup what they have lost. They need the added support that flexible seating can provide to enhance their academics. One-half of these students are below grade level and learn best when being able to move around. Flexible seating gives them the option to wobble, rock, stand, sit, or lean while helping them stay alert and focused. Flexible seating would be an asset to their learning.
