Reading Rainbows is a project designed for students with learning disabilities to have full access to a colorful electronic library that can meet individual lexile levels. This would allow students to excel and improve in their reading because students could choose books they are interested in while teachers can access and download books that will also meet the needs of what that individual student needs to be academically successful. Technology and the use of E Readers is a great way for students with learning disabilities to have full access to cross-content curriculum. Accommodating these particular students with hands on resources like e-readers is so important to help in accessing and participating in the general education classroom.
