Our curriculum requires use of Chromebooks to add additional learning activities to lessons taught. My students are the students that have never had school without all the Covid restrictions during learning. Many are below grade level and need the extra applications of activities on technology to catch up in their learning. They need access to Chromebooks individually to fully be able to have time to work at their speed and time. As a teacher having enough Chromebooks lets me be more effective in planning lessons for the whole group as well as giving me time to work one on one with students as others are engaged in learning with technology.
