I am requesting this badminton set in an effort to provide my students an opportunity to be physically active, as well as allow them to keep a reasonable distance from each other in a controlled environment. Learning how to play badminton, can lead students to have a vested interest in the sport of tennis. The skills associated with badminton/tennis can help students develop hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. By donating to our project, you will not only help expose students to a healthy, fun, skill-filled activity, but you will also be providing them an opportunity to safely grow socially by engaging with their peers. Purchasing this pack of badminton sets will allow several students the opportunity to play a game simultaneously. When learned, badminton is an activity that can be played well past school age becoming a life wellness activity that supports a healthy lifestyle.
