Students love hands on projects and I saw another teacher that had used the LEGO World Map to help students connect to other cultures. In her classroom, students researched different cultures and then created symbols of different countries in the ocean space next to the countries. It was fantastic and I would love to give my students a similar experience! Young people are surrounded by the digital world and it is important to provide a variety of activities. Every map comes with 40 different panels so working in small groups, this would reach many students. Having two maps would be even better.
