Printing the designed object makes it possible to grasp and evaluate the design through checking the product. Thus, 3D printing enables mathematical thinking development. According to Slavkovsky, the initial focus on the pure mathematics of basic geometric shapes was not as interesting as some later experiments. Having these 3d printers in class will help my Special Ed students better grasp a 3-dimensional object while they watch the process of their project getting built. The keyboard is something I have wanted in my classroom for a while. while SpEd students have a harder time progressing with their peers, some excel with learning instruments. these fine motor skills to play the piano or even just push the keys randomly will help exponentially with our fine motor skills.
