By providing materials for hands on experiments, students will be better prepared for end of year benchmark testing. Reflecting back on our tests last year, students often struggled on the questions that required students to manipulate on screen experiments and draw conclusions from that experience. Students are more engaged with subject material when they can interact with a real world example. These experiments help us to reinforce what we read in our class textbooks. They also provide experiences for students to think back on and allow them to engage in more meaningful class discussions.
