Pretend play helps children develop social-emotional as well as cognitive skills. Through pretend play, young students are able to work together and spark their imagination. Customes, puppets, dolls, food play, and animal toys, gives my students the tools to create different scenarios to role-play and make-believe. Through pretend play, students explore and learn how to take turns, share, cooperate, and talk through their emotions. Play fosters children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. When children cooperate and collaborate, they are expanding and using their language skills. When students work together to build a puzzle, they learn problem solving as well as the importance of unity. Help me give my students the resources and opportunities they need and deserve to succeed! My students have faced and overcome many challenges with the pandemic, help us create a safe environment for development and growing! We highly appreciate your support!
