My wish is to set my students up for success with exciting literature, flexible seating, and emotional wellness help. I also believe that phonics is a key fundamental skill to reading. The games I have selected are something students can do together with their peers, or with me in a small group or one on one. Many of the books I have chosen will aid the students in learning how to cope with different types of emotions and teach them strategies to use. Flexible seating will give students a comfortable area where they can read alone if preferred, or be with a group. Many students in our low economical area don’t have access to exciting literature, and it is my hope to provide this for them at school so that they look forward to coming here and utilizing the materials found in my classroom.
