These materials will help my students to engage in interactive lessons using technology. They are also a great way for students to learn how to use apps such as cameras, browsers, and keyboarding. These tablets not only will they be able to engage in interactive lessons, they will also be able to use the tablets to create their own projects using different platforms such as google docs, google slides, and various others. Kindle Fire tablets are a great and easy tool to use to introduce technology to second graders. Using these materials will not only help students develop an excitement for learning technology, they will also be learning life long skills that they will use throughout their entire education. Learning digital citizenship and responsibilities while using the tablet is another aspect of learning that these kids will experience. These materials will increase student attention and motivation. Students will want to be engaged in the lessons using the tablets. In turn, it will increase student engagement and participation of students of all levels. Tablets will also give my students more opportunities to be able to use resources such as Epic! Reading at their own level, which can help students become better reading and help to build confidence in themselves. Using these tablets will help my class to become better readers by giving them the resources that they need to be able to read on their own level, create. projects on their own level, and also by giving them a chance to participate in Nearpod lessons and Kahoots which in turn can give me data as a teacher on how to help my students better.
