Project materials include fabric for sewing construction with machines at school, and leatherworking bracelets and/ or keychains, and hand sewing leather or embroidery projects which could be worked on at school or at home during a quarantine. The global pandemic has caused a rift in continuity and excellence in education. Students have suffered with too many digital/ hypothetical or imagined project models. Teachers have worked with what they have, but it isn't enough. Students need project based learning experiences to drive their own creativity, help them to finish what they have started, and to show pride in their effort to persevere in a challenging project.
