Our classroom currently consists of old desks that have seen better days! The sides are chipping and they have been well loved over the years. I would love the opportunity to give my students new seating that promotes classroom community! Allowing my students to use round tables rather than their solitary desks it will be easier to work collaboratively and give students a chance to scaffold off of those around them. These tables and rug will be a great asset to student growth and learning socially and academically. With a little help we can make this dream a reality for our second graders!
