The art supplies will help students creatively show what we've learned. Our learning often begins with reading to learn new information. Then we often write about it. We often have this reading, writing, and talking cycle to help our understanding. I want to incorporate more artwork to help students express themselves through art. Many students express themselves differently through art than if they are writing or talking. I want to offer options to help students express themselves in different ways. First graders are so proud of themselves when their work is displayed around the classroom. Adding artwork to our activities and assignments will help enhance our finished work.
