My 3rd grade students have been impacted by COVID-19. Despite the hard work of parents and teachers, months of online learning or missed school have caused many students to fall behind in math. Fortunately, we're making great progress! The use of math manipulatives has been one of our keys to success. As a teachers, I love the phrase, "Oh, now I get it!". My project will provide a fraction towers set to each of my students. This will give them the opportunity to explore and understand the relationship between fractions. We'll use them to problem solve and modeI. I know they will love having their very own sets!
