Focusing and being engaged in class can be challenging in a normal school year. This year, my second graders started below grade level and need all the help they can get. Choice is a powerful motivator, and gives students a feeling of control. The flexible seating I am requesting will provide a choice for students. I believe that they will step up to the challenge of not only getting on grade level, but working through grade level to be ready for third grade. Can you help us say “Challenge accepted”?
