One of the unfortunate realities of the COVID-19 pandemic is the increased isolation experienced by so many students. Many have lost out on precious opportunities to learn how to connect and interact with their peers in a real, face-to-face environment. Our Connection Corner is intended to help students learn to interact with each other without technology and to help teach them build interpersonal relationship skills via games and activities. In addition to connection, students are in need of more support to help them recognize and mitigate stress. We hope to create a classroom stress relief center where students are able to spend time decompressing, in the hopes that they are able to move forward and learn from a safer and more productive mental place.
