Currently my tech students are only able to learn about hand sewing because we don't have a sewing machine or serger. With these machines students will have the opportunity to learn about creating costumes and get more hands-on learning opportunities. My acting students will benefit from more student designed and created costumes for their productions. Students benefit from having the opportunity to learn real-world hands-on skills in theatre that they can apply to future theatre endeavors and beyond. Many of my tech students have expressed an interest in learning more sewing skills if we had the machines for them to learn these skills.

About my class
