First of all, the materials requested are a part of the Chinese Cultural curriculum. Students are to learn about different leisure activities in Chinese culture. Not only students will learn about different popular leisure activities, they may also apply learned skills to benefit themselves either in social settings or for personal health. Students may check them out to practice at home. Skills learned can even help them perform in a Chinese cultural-related event such as the Chinese New Year Celebration. Currently, there is one in my classroom. I'd like to provide more opportunities for them to learn Chinese YoYo and Jian Zi.
