The supplies I am requesting will go towards helping students who have been negatively impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic. The students need to be engaged in activities that will promote their motor skills, which in turn will improve their ability to benefit from the academic curriculum. My students will be able to develop finger dexterity and coordination with art supplies and the dexterity board, upper extremity strength and endurance with the exercise bars and sensory processing with the body pods, tunnel and weighted materials. By donating these materials, it will expand the variety of activities I am able to present to students in areas that interest them. The students will remain engaged and will be able to develop their motor skills and gain self confidence in their abilities. My students are bright and eager to learn. I love seeing students feel success and empowered in their abilities.
