Literacy instruction is HUGE in 1st grade, and due to the on going pandemic, our students are below where they should be. Students started 1st grade not knowing their letter sounds, so I have had to start at square one to bridge the gaps and get them ready for second grade! The pandemic has been hard on everyone, but my students have been stronger than I could have ever imagined. During my small group instruction time, I find myself always having to interrupt my groups to help students with technological issues, normally caused by the headphones. Getting these headphones from Amazon would allow my time to be focused on my small group instruction, and give my students my undivided attention. As a first year teacher myself, I am in great need of these Lakeshore resources. They will improve my overall classroom instruction, and aide my multi-language learners immensely.
