Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, my first graders missed out on some critical early childhood math education. They need the tools to really solidify their understanding of numbers and how they work. It is helpful to follow a solid math program, but hands-on learning, especially for little ones, is always best! Rekenreks are powerful teachers of how our base 10 number system works. With a Rekenrek in each child's hands I can systematically teach numbers in a way that is engaging, concrete and meaningful to them, helping make their understanding a rock solid foundation for them to build on.

About my class
