It has been four years since our school has had a room dedicated to the needs of our Special Education population. We have the chance to design this space based solely on the needs of our students both sensory and required service minutes. I am incredibly excited to add these items to our project that would help our students close some of their knowledge gaps as well as reset themselves when they are overstimulated or unfocused. Having a space to call their own that they know will address what they need is a dream for my students. These manipulatives, sensory toys and teaching aids will allow them to have a consistent space, dedicated to their diverse learning requirements.

About my class
