Many of my music students and their families have faced financial hardship since COVID struck in 2020. The supplies requested here are necessary for students to play their instruments. Having these supplies available for students will allow them and their families to worry about one less thing as their students pursue their music education. Many students are unable to afford reeds, new strings, and through this project students will not have to worry about these items. I have had students play on a reed that is completely destroyed for too long, without telling me because their parents cannot afford to buy them new ones. Through this project and donation I will be able to give these students the supplies they need to be successful.
