As students attendance varies from family to family, sickness to sickness, and resource to resource, students need the ability to read from home regardless of their situation. If a student doesn't have the means or ability to have a book to read, they are missing out on knowledge. I want all of my students to have the ability to read as a class no matter their situation. By adding enough books for each 6th grader in my school, students will be able to read from home no matter what their situation might be. We have seen how unpredictable life can be. Let's make reading easy and fun no matter what is going on in a family, household, city, state, or country.
