During center time is a great way for students to do things independently. While some students are with me (the teacher) for some small group learning, the other students are doing centers. Items like the floor puzzles help children develop finger strength, perseverance and problem solving skills. Having dry erase boards that are both blank and lined will help students in writing letters. It will also help me as teacher when I need to do a quick assessment on how their understanding of letters and sounds are. We use the white boards quick often in class.
