I have requested oil pastels and art paper so we can grow and develop our creativity as we explore our talents and enjoy the time we spend together. We will learn about ourselves as we make self-portraits, learn about animals and create pictures of them, draw the world around us as the seasons change, and many other various projects as we continue to develop as life-long learners. Students can relax, unwind and feel less anxious when they are free to create, using oil pastels that they haven't had the opportunity to use before. They will be able to use these oil pastels and try different techniques and tools to blend colors together, use the bold colors to express their feelings and emotions, and use their creativity to express their ideas through art.
