The update and adding of better equipment in these areas help with them emotional state in the classroom. As a student is better at focusing in class when they can go out to play, get energy out and release frustration by playing sports or swinging rather than by fighting and getting suspended for bad behavior. The students have nothing but one playset and an old parking lot to play on . The older kids would benefit from them basketball hoops as they are more interested in that sport. As well the 1-2 will be interested in the soccer goal as all they do the entire recess is play soccer up against fence that backs to a major road. Lastly the Kindergartners will benefit from the swing set as they have a tiny playset and a whole area of grass. They are the ones that get in the most trouble. These kids will never forget those who help them play when they have the time to play.
