Kindergarten students need hands on learning. Concrete examples and real world objects help to create a fun learning atmosphere. Using the senses to learn is data driven and scientifically proven to work. STEM learning materials will provide students an opportunity to use critical thinking skills. Science is a key focus for my class but the lack of funding makes it hard to provide adequate supplies. Incorporating these activities into centers will provide students with more activities to learn to read and improve their science skills. Yes, an alphabet rug is included in the order. We have our original rug and unfortunately kindergarten students do not always make it to the garbage or bathroom. I know! gross!
