The flexible seating will allow students options in the classroom to switch up the learning environment and increase engagement. Due to the impacts of COVID 19, these books and social emotional learning resources will also help students become more resilient learners by focusing not only on their academics but their bodies and minds. Due to COVID 19, I have seen students struggling to focus because of issues in their home lives that impact their performance at school. Having materials that represent them will empower them to engage and succeed in school.
