I use a rug everyday in my classroom. It is just a simple one I got at a store that I then had to make a spot for everyone. It will be so much easier and less work if they design of the rug is ready to go and the students can always remember where they are to sit, or if we need to sit on the outside of the rug, I say "sit on the letters instead of numbers!" The white board will help me to stay mobile and take it wherever I am needed in the class. I love that it is magnetic so I can use letter and number magnets on it. I also love that it has a shelf that can be used for holding things like my gigantic teacher reader and makes it easier to be seen by all my students.
