With these materials, students will have more access to learn about different cultures and traditions. Students will be able to see themselves and their peers in these different multicultural books. With the varying grade levels and types, students will have many options to choose from to get to know the world around them. With this project, I hope to be able to help the students connect with those around them and have more empathy for others while also becoming good readers. These books will help my students be engaged and interested in reading while learning about other important social skills to help them in their lives.
