In kindergarten, many students come in knowing some letter names and sounds. ABC magnets are an important tool that can increase students engagement and help them build their knowledge in literacy and writing. Giving students their own can add that much more hands on experience to the classroom. Since COVID, there has been a decrease in student engagement. Students struggle to stay focused for longer period of times. Using hands on activities has helped build student engagement and bring back excitement in learning. Using ABC magnets allows for student to be using hands on skills for small and whole group learning. They can use these to write words, learn letter sounds and so much more!
